How to drive a manual car in nine steps

Getting in the car and put on your seatbelt Put the key in the ignition and turn all the way until the engine starts Put the clutch pedal down (this the pedal on the left)  Move the gear stick into first gear Use your right foot to press down on the accelerator gently to increase the engine’s revs very slightly Slowly lift the clutch pedal using your left foot until it starts to vibrate gently This vibration is known as the car’s “bite point” - this is where the clutch plates start to come together. Remove the handbrake and the car should start to move slowly Increase the revs while slowly raising your foot off the clutch unit you are moving forward with only the use of the accelerator pedal Remember - if you’re too quick lifting your foot off the clutch, or don’t give it enough revs, the car will stall: that’s where the engine cuts out and the red lights glow on the dashboard.

Manual Transmission

The function of any transmission is transferring engine  power  to the driveshaft and rear wheels (or axle half shafts and front wheels in a front-wheel-drive vehicle). Gears inside the transmission change the vehicle's drive-wheel speed and torque in relation to engine speed and torque. In every step of Gear Clutch Must be Hold Down Full.

Car Accelerator

The accelerator is also known as gas pedal. It is the pedal located on the floor on the far-right. This pedal  controls  the amount of gas being fed into the engine and thereby  controls  the speed of the vehicle. You push the accelerator with your right foot with your heel resting on the ground. On a manual car there are three foot  pedals  located on the floor beneath the steering wheel. The  accelerator , the brake and the clutch. The  pedal  on the right is the  accelerator  - often referred to as the gas  pedal . This is the power  pedal . When you step on the  gas pedal , the  throttle  valve opens up more, letting in more air. The engine control unit (ECU, the computer that controls all of the electronic components on your engine) "sees" the  throttle  valve open and increases the fuel rate in anticipation of more air entering the engine.

Car Clutch

On a manual  car  there are  three  foot  pedals  located on the floor beneath the steering wheel. The accelerator, the brake and the clutch. The  pedal  on the right is the accelerator - often referred to as the gas  pedal . This is the power  pedal . To make it very simple, the  clutch  connects the engine to the wheels. When you step on the  clutch  it disconnects the engine. This lets your car roll free, and lets the engine turn at any speed. You  do  this when you come to a stop because the wheels are not moving and you want your engine to keep turning. Clutch control refers to the act of  controlling  the speed of a vehicle with a manual transmission by partially  engaging  the clutch plate, using the clutch pedal instead of (or in conjunction with) the accelerator pedal. We use clutch for Change Gears Neutral Engine Breaking

Car Bracks

I think Brake is the most important part of a car and must know at beginning of Driving Learning. Brakes are two types. Foot Brake Foot Brake position as on above picture just in Middle of Accelerator and Clutch. We normally use foot brake when drive a car. We put our Right Foot on Brake to control the speed and car. Hand Brake Hand Brake is just Behind the Gear as shown in the above picture. We use it for parking normally.

Car Maintenance

To keep your car running smooth, make sure you have the following engine-related services done regularly: Change the oil. Change the oil filter, air filter and fuel filter. Check the PCV valve for proper operation. Check the spark plugs and spark plug wires. Very Hard – 10.5 and higher gpg.

Basic Parts of a Motor Car

Common parts of a motor Car are: Engine: Car engine, the big metal box type thing under the bonnet in human biology terms is the heart of the car and like the heart the engine is made up of all different components which make the car move and function. Fuel and air is fed into the engines cylinders where combustion takes place, causing rapid expansion of the gases in the form of heat which then creates motion. Alternator: Ever wondered how all your car electrics work? This is the job of your car’s alternator – it turns the rotating movement of the drive belt into electricity. It does this by turning a magnet inside a coil of wire producing a voltage to charge the car’s battery.  This allows the battery to power for the cars electrical components like your headlights, brake lights and internal electrics. Radiator: Your car’s engine can get very hot from all the moving parts within it, the radiator is located at the front of the car allowing fresh air to run over and ...

Types of Motor Vehicles.

Hi, There are different types of motor cars Here's a rundown of different types of cars. Hatchback. A hatchback is a car type with a rear door that opens upwards. ... Sedan. Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. ...
